rejoicing regardless.: loving people is important.
people are tearing apart the KONY 2012 movement. and a lot of these people are Christians. and that is sad. its always easier to be a critic than it is to change something or take a stand or make a difference. i am guilty of this, for sure. but wouldn’t it be better to come behind these brothers…

On judging others
All too often I catch myself picking out the things about others that I can’t stand. I forget that that is, in fact, a form of judging others. Who am I to decide that the qualities I see as un-redeeming in others are reason enough to discredit them as people or friends? Don’t I have countless flaws that have caused me to loathe myself most of my life? I think it’s time for a step back & a look in the mirror to remind myself of who I am & all my un-redeeming qualities & flaws & patterns that, apart from the grace of my Savior, would warrant eternal punishment.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye”.
